L'UE sarà verde

In February, youths from different European countries visited Portogruaro to learn about best practices in the region of Eastern Venice. The Italian partner Vegal arranged an inspiring program that included visiting H-farm, where innovation, entrepreneurship and education come together, and La Fagiana, a rice farm that protects its biodiversity and uses technology to farm sustainably. 

The participants also attended presentations from influential organizations and worked on an environmental challenge at Luzzatto High School. They even took to the streets of Portogruaro, interviewing locals and sharing information about sustainability! 

This program was an inspiring opportunity for the participants to engage with the local people and gather knowledge to bring back to their own countries. Read more in the blog post about the meeting in Italy!
