Building the Green Deal
In 2022, we received an international delegation in Leeuwarden for a program focusing on the local interventions we could use to bring a Green Europe closer to citizens. We teamed up with the project BOSK, an ambitious art project bringing hundreds of trees into the city center.

About the event
The youth ambassadors were welcomed in Leeuwarden by Learning Hub Friesland and learned about generating interest for action and promoting youth action for sustainability. They visited Downies & Brownies café, a business that supports the Down's Syndrome community, and participated in the BOSK project to move walking trees and raise awareness about eco-sustainable environments. The program also included a presentation of local initiatives and a contest where unused items were turned into useful inventions. The meeting was concluded with a dinner and a "goodbye" to all partners. Read the blog post for more information on the meeting in Leeuwarden.
